Dundee's Story...
On May 10, 2000, Dundee, our beautiful
Australian Shepherd, was bitten by a
rattlesnake. The closest veterinary
emergency hospital was 60 miles away.
For 23 days Dundee struggled to survive
the terrible effects of the rattlesnake venom
and the strain of traveling 60 miles every
day for treatment.
On June 2, 2000 she succumbed to renal
failure as a result of the snakebite. Devas-
tated at the loss of our Queen of the Ranch,
we wanted to bring to our community a
state-of-the-art facility for our pets and
doctor(s) who would be able to provide
compassionate and quality medical care
for all of our best friends.
